My name is Darren Treen, my father started
taking me to judo when I was 4, I have now been practising for over 43 years. Dave Treen (father) has been
doing judo 35 years and has now retired. I run the club with my partner John Stubbington.( Cobra Judo Club).
For 13 years we have run this club and have taught many junior / seniors. Both my daughter Zoe and my
son Luke have been practising for over 10 yrs now. Also our other daughter, Alyssia has just started. We have won plenty
of medals and even had some National titles in the family. With this martial art we have all made lots of new
friends and learnt disipline, self awareness, fitness, and many new skills. Judo is a sport we love, and I hope
to keep it up till I'm too old to rei on & off the mat with my creeky old bones.
